Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has addressed the false rumour about his wellbeing and has clearly stated that he is alive and in good health. He explained that he became aware of the rumour early in the morning and decided to speak directly to the public to clear every doubt.
He reaffirmed that he is hale, hearty, and doing excellently well by the special grace of God. He noted that it is unfortunate that some people still take pleasure in spreading misinformation without any known reason. According to him, such actions cause unnecessary fear and confusion, but he remains committed to rising above all forms of mischief.
Chief Obiano extended his sincere appreciation to Ndi Anambra, friends, and well wishers who reached out to him with calls, messages, and prayers. He said their concern shows the deep bond they share and that their support means more than words can fully express. He added that moments like this remind him of the value of unity, compassion, and community.
He encouraged everyone to completely disregard the rumour, stating that it holds no truth whatsoever. He assured the people that he remains focused on his personal commitments and continues to be grateful for the grace of God upon his life. He also emphasized the importance of spreading truth and uplifting one another instead of promoting fear or falsehood.
Chief Obiano concluded by thanking the public once again for their constant love and goodwill. He prayed for continued peace, progress, and blessings for Ndi Anambra and all who supported him with genuine concern.
