Governor Uzodimma Announces Disbandment of Imo State Government Boards, Agencies, and Commissions

In a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the governor, Mr. Oguwike Nwachachukwu, it has been revealed that Governor Hope Uzodimma has endorsed the dissolution of all governmental boards, parastatals, agencies, extra-ministerial departments, and commissions within Imo State.

Furthermore, the disbandment extends to the coordinators of development centers and their members across the 305 wards in the state. Effective March 21, 2024, Governor Uzodimma has instructed the heads of these affected offices to promptly transfer all government property in their possession to the most senior individuals.

Expressing appreciation for their service to the state, Governor Uzodimma thanked the impacted officials for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.
