The forthcoming Mega Empowerment Program scheduled for April signals a significant new phase in the ongoing development of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency. At the heart of this renewed drive is the leadership of Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi, the Member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency. The April Mega Empowerment Program represents a comprehensive approach to constituency development, featuring three major components that will directly impact all 63 autonomous communities in Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency.
Building on the success of the initial phase, the second phase of Operation Light-Up Mbaike will extend sustainable solar-powered street lighting to the remaining autonomous communities, enhancing security, mobility, and nighttime economic activities.
In a historic move, the program will also provide transformers to all 63 autonomous communities within the constituency. This unprecedented intervention directly addresses longstanding power supply challenges that have constrained economic growth and quality of life across Mbaitoli and Ikeduru. By equipping each autonomous community with a dedicated transformer, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi is laying a solid foundation for improved electricity access to homes, businesses, schools, and healthcare facilities.
