President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State to embrace unity, discipline, and collective responsibility as the party works toward selecting a consensus candidate and strengthening its political base ahead of future elections.
Speaking during a strategic meeting with party leaders and aspirants at the State House, the President stressed that only genuine cohesion can secure the APC’s long-term stability in Osun. He emphasized that peace, mutual respect, and disciplined party conduct are essential to preserving the gains made through recent reconciliation efforts.
Tinubu encouraged members to adopt consensus-building as a practical pathway for resolving internal disagreements and minimizing friction. He noted that choosing dialogue and cooperation over division would help the APC present a stronger, more unified front in forthcoming political contests.
The President’s engagement is viewed as part of a broader push to consolidate the party’s internal structures, reinforce reconciliation, and ensure the APC is better positioned for electoral challenges in the state.
