The Owerri Zurumee People’s Assembly mourns the passing of our dearly beloved member and leader, Hon. Sir Bennett Iheanyichukwu Onyeme, JP.
Late Hon. Sir Bennett Iheanyichukwu Onyeme, JP served faithfully as the Publicity Secretary of the Owerri Zurumee People’s Assembly until his passing. He was also a former President General of Ohi Community, former Councillor of Ohi Ward, a devoted Christian, and a distinguished community leader whose contributions to humanity and community development will never be forgotten.
The Owerri Zurumee People’s Assembly sincerely extends its heartfelt condolences to the entire Onyeme family. We encourage the family to take heart, as he lived a life of service and honor.
The burial ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30th January 2026.
All members are mandated to submit a tribute to the family of the deceased.
