Nigeria’s fuel supply capacity received a major boost in November as the Dangote Petroleum Refinery delivered an average of 23.5 million litres of petrol per day, marking one of its strongest output levels since the facility began phased operations earlier this year.
The increased production has contributed to improved nationwide fuel availability, easing pressures in regions that previously experienced intermittent scarcity. Industry observers say the sustained output signals growing stability in the downstream oil sector, as Nigeria works to reduce its dependence on imported refined products.
According to officials familiar with the refinery’s operations, the November supply figures reflect heightened production efficiency and strengthened crude oil feedstock arrangements.
