The Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers Owerri Chapter, set to host Investiture/Inauguration of Engr. Assoc. Prof. H. E. Opara, FNSE, FNICE, as their 3rd Chairman of the branch.
The event which will take place on Wednesday, 11th December, 2024 at Owerri Engineering center off Chukwuma Nwaoha MCC road.
The event which will feature a public lecture tagged:”Enhancing Materials Strength and Core Engineering Properties: A Civil Engineering Response To Global Trends In Structural Failure Prevention” under the Chairmanship of Engr. V. C. Ezugu, FNSE, FNICE, KSM, National Chairman.
The prestigious lnvestiture/Inauguration ceremony will be gathering of cream la creme of personalities across Nigeria, including, Engr. Prof. Ikechukwu Umeonyiagu, from Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University Uli, Anambra State, as the guest speaker.
And also, Engr. Prof. Ben Nnamdi Ekwueme, FNSE, FNICE,Deuty Director GUConsult, Gregory University Uturu, as the Guest of Honour. Engr. Gerald O. Osuagwu,MNSE, FNIWE, Managing Director AIRBDA, Owerri.
The Special Guest of Honour, Engr. Ajanaku Adetokunbo Antoni,FNSE, FNICE, Deputy National Chairman, Royal Father of the Day: HRH Eze ( Elder) Chimaeze Nwokenne, Eze Ugwu 111, Abala Autonomous Community, Obingwa LGA, Abia State.
While Chief Host will be Engr. Ugorji Ebizie FNICE, Chairman Owerri Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers ( NICE), and his co. Host Engr. Chibuike Onyejietu, FNSE, KSJI, Chairman Owerri Branch Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and so many dignitaries too numerous to be mentioned.
