Concerned members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State have raised alarm on how former member of the Federal House of Representatives,Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju of People’s Democratic Party,PDP and former Imo Governorship candidate of Action Alliance,AA, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s “boys” emerged supervisory councillors.
The Concerned APC faithful through a statement signed by their spokesperson,Hon. Vincent Okafor queried why Mr. Amaechi Mmuoma,Mr. Nelson Ufere and Chief Amakiri who are still loyal to their principals,Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju and Ugwumba Uche Nwosu were appointed supervisory councillors to serve under the ruling APC Government of Oguta Local Government Area.
According to the statement,”appointments of the trio are not only dangerous to the smooth running of APC in Oguta Local Government Area, but capable of moving the party structure to the oppositions in preparation of the next period election.
Amaechi Mmuoma is still loyal to his principal, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, While Nelson Ufere and Chief Amakiri are currently loyal to the former Federal House of Representatives member for Oguta,Ohaji/Egbema and Oru West Federal Constituency,Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju. Honestly,these people are planted to destroy the Party, and we are urging the Executive Chairman of Oguta Local Government Area,Hon. Ifeanyi Nani to trade with caution while working with them. We have no personal rift with them, but the overriding interest of our dear party,APC is paramount. And we have other APC card-carrying members who are qualified to be appointed supervisory councillors in Oguta Local Government Area, and those are on the “mission” journey.
We are urging Governor to call the two groups, Hon Uchegbu and Hon Eugene Dibiagwu boys who are currently disturbing the peace of our good people of Oguta LGA to order.
We therefore call on our dear listening Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma to quickly intervene”.
