I want Imo people to know that this is not a personal fight or an attempt to attack anybody. I don’t have the capacity to attack my former Boss but it is my job as a concerned good citizen to call his attention over his policy summersaults and unhealthy practices in his government. This is for posterity. I am not doing this to be settled or to be seen as a crusader. I am naturally, a man of justice and advocate of good governance. I don’t need anything from anybody. I live a very simple modest lifestyle and ‘abughim onye oke ochicho’.
I have a very simple question which I want every man and woman of good conscience to answer and evaluate. In the last 5 years, every LGA in Imo state, conservatively, must have received more than N7billion in allocations. It is important for men of good will to go back to their LGAs and evaluate throughout those LGAs if there is any project worth even N5m in any of the LGAs in the last five years. Are we not suppose to ask questions? Are we no longer citizens? In one year, the 27 LGAs in Imo state received at least N189billion and in five years, they received N945billion accrued to them. Let us tell ourselves the truth, can anybody in his right senses believe that nearly N1trillion had been injected into the local government system in Imo state? Who have we offended?
