Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a non partisan social group” City Boy Movement ” has been Inaugurated in Owerri, Imo state Capital .
The group , City Boy Movement propagated by heavy weight socialites and some political leaders across the country is envisioned to market the President Tinubu’s vision and philosophy of an all inclusive governance of the Nigerian nation.
IMO state leader of the “CITY BOY MOVEMENT ” Dr Mrs Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu who addressed a large audience of members and Local government Coordinators with their sub Structures in Owerri disclosed that the City Boy Movement is well positioned to Drive Progress and Development in Nigeria.
The Imo state City Boy Movement Leader observed that the Present Federal government under President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has shown lots of great interests in bringing Nigerians from all the Political Parties together in the administration of the nation through his Unity government. She went on to Urge Nigerians to Support in bringing President Tinubu’s Vision back in 2027 to advance Nigeria .
Dr. Agbonma Kalu told the crowd that this is the First time in our nation , the first Son of the President and Commander in Chief has offered to appreciate Moslems and Christians with Palliatives tagged ” Ramadan Palliatives and Lent Palliatives ”. Barr. SEYI TINUBU’ deserves our best accolades , she intoned.
Highlight of the Programme was the official Inauguration of Imo state Chapter of the CITY Boy Movement with Hon. Oparaugo Emmanuel as Imo state Coordinator City Boy Movement, Rt.Hon. Dr. Amb. Uju Onwudiwe as South East Liadon Officer for City Boy Movement while Hon Chief Mrs Mary Ikoku , as South East Zonal Leader .

Senators Osita Izunaso and Patrick Ndubueze of Orlu and Okigwe respectively as grand Patrons.
Other grand patrons included Rt. Hon. Eugene O. Dibiagwu, Hon. Chief Candice Moore Nwachukwu, Rt.Hon.Chinedu Emeka Martins and Hon. Harrison Nwadike.
