The President General,(PG), of Obile Autonomous Community in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area, LGA, of Imo State in Nigeria, Hon. Commander Omuruka Kingsley Chigozie, has expressed happiness with the peace, quick growth, togetherness, and progress achieved in his village under his leadership as the president general
Hon.Omuruka, who also holds the role of coordinating president of all President Generals in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, shared the above while reacting to an incident that happened in his village less than 24 hours ago, where his Traditional Leader, Eze Abyssinia Colombus Ogbuji, and some individuals from the village whom he described as unhappy members, happiness killers, and village underminers tried to establish a new leadership against his authority.
As per Omuruka, “As long as the truth stands, my term remains active. Our leadership still has over a year left. There was no election held in my village, so there was no inauguration of new leadership or government in Obile autonomous community
“Any inauguration needs an election. So, there was no election in Obile and also there was no inauguration in Obile.
“The supposed inauguration that named Mr. Obido Ndubuise as President General was false, groundless, and baseless. It was a fake event. Individuals like Mr. Ikeokwu Nwulu as Vice President General and Mr. Igwe Casmir Abi as Secretary General, among others, are not real and alleged;
“The continuous bad actions of Eze Abyssinia Colombus Ogbuji show him as a bad person. He is a born criminal and an ungrateful person who loves causing trouble in our Community. Since he became the leader, the people of Obile have faced problems. He doesn’t like progress but finds happiness in hurting his people,” The President General Omuruka concluded.
Expanding on his statement, the Obile PG, Hon.Kingsley, said the people of Obile strongly support his leadership, as they have collectively shown confidence in his work in the Community
He revealed that since taking office as a capable leader, his village has seen significant development in all aspects, even as he appealed to the people of Obile autonomous community in Ohaji Egbema LGA of the state.
Hon. Chigozie (PG) however, strongly criticized what he described as the false and alleged inauguration of a new leadership in his area but called for peace and calm.
Omuruka, while speaking, insisted that he remains fully in control as the President General of Obile autonomous community because his people firmly support his leadership style.
Adding his voice, the Youth Leader of Obile autonomous community, Comr.John Amaechi, praised the leadership achievements and breakthroughs in Obile autonomous community, courtesy of Omuruka, and fully endorsed his administration, which he described as chosen and supported by all the people of Obile.
According to the Youth Leader, “Omuruka has created a prosperous and peaceful Community. With unity and a commitment to serve, the leaders aim to use the Community potential and guide it towards greater success and well-being.”
