Acting Students Union Government (SUG) President of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Comrade Chimoma Ebere Cynthia, has urged students of the institution to take their studies seriously, shun any act that can distract them to graduate in character and learning to brighten their future, become useful and responsible to themselves, family and the society
Ebere made the urge in an interview with journalists during the Grand Reception in honour of NANS Vice President, Special Duties, Ezinwa Comrade Ahaneku Valentine Nzubechi, organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students in collaboration with Imo Comrades Community, held at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, last week.

She told the students to continue to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution, obey school management, their sponsors: parents or wards, while being godly to merit God’s favor and bliss for enhanced goodness and success.
The FedPoNek SUG Acting President who was evenly recognized by NANS over her discipline, focus in academics, dedication to welfare and interests of students, promised to always listen and speak for the students of the institution judiciously.
“The honor was due to my dedication to service, the zeal to service, the service we render. We accommodate students and give them listening ears. I sincerely promise to continue to speak for the good of the students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. Hence I urge them to focus in their studies, keep the rules, regulations of the institution as to have smooth graduation. While expressing my gratitude to NANS for the recognition, I thank the entire SUG for their fair representation, the school authorities are also duly appreciated for the opportunity they avail us to function and study. I’m quite happy and grateful”, Ebere maintained.
