The House Member Representing Owerri Federal Constituency, Hon Tochukwu Okere , has been Commended by Labour Party chieftains for his proactive representation as he marked one year in Office.
The commendation was made by the National President of Labour Party, Barr. Julius Abure and Imo State Labour Party chairman, Barr Calistus Ihejiagwa , during the event of his (Okere) one year anniversary in Owerri.
Hon Abure , described Okere as a result oriented personality , he maintained that he is being guided by labour Party policy . He added that Labour Party starts for integrity , transparency , equity, justice and results oriented leadership. He emphasized that those that won election under labour Party are doing exceedingly well.
” Hon Tochukwu Okere is proactive and he has indeed deliver his promises to his constituents. We are very proud of him and his representation ” .
Barr Abure , advised other politicians who won under the Labour Party platform to fellow suit.
In his view , Barr Calistus Ihejiagwa, maintained that he has done exceptionally well within one year , he added that the projects Hon Okere have attracted to his constituency that some other politicians can not achieve such in eight years.
Barr Calistus Ihejiagwa, described Okere as the pride of Labour Party, he informed that chieftains of Labour Party are savants of the people .
Some of the developmental projects which Okere attracted to his constituency include, ICT training and distribution of laptops , solar light installation , skill acquisition , empowerment and monthly remuneration , apprenticeship program for 300 constituents, among others.
