Owerri Imo State has witnessed another spiritual break through under the Pelitha Church Assembly, ( Set the Captives Free International) in conjunction with Walk By Faith Ministries International ended a six days convention which brought out massive Healings, Revivals, and truly setting the spiritual captives free with bounds of testimony and miracles.
Speaking the host, Senior Pastor of Pelitha Church Assembly Owerri, Rev. Godwin Nwanlem, expressed his profound gratitude to God Almighty for the successful event that started on the Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th, November 2024, at the Church Auditorium in Old Timber Shade Wetheral road Owerri Imo State.
He maintained that the God of Pelitha used the Convention to bless the city of Owerri and the true Christians in the State as the theme implies, “Preparing Yourself as God’s Battle Axe”. Said God really used the Powerful men on his kingdom to do exploits including Pastor Prince Emmanuel Amaga, Apostle Blessing Able Amaechi, Rev.Dr. Onyekachi Ukachi, Evang. Rufus Andrew, Pastor Jarlath Onuegbu, Bishop N.I. Erimujor, Rev. Evangelist Clarke Coleman and many others.
In his homely blessings, the Healing the Nation ministry’s, Founder, Bishop, Dr. N.I. Erimujor in his sermons after describing the host, Rev Godwin Nwanlem as his devoted son, said that, God Instructed him to tell Pelitha Church members that “he, God will take care of them”.
Reading from the book of Genesis 22 verses 1 to 14 and Hebrew 11 verses 8 to 11 and 19, he said, Love, Faith, Obedient and Beliefs made God to take care of Abraham’s and his son Isaac provided a ram for the sacrifice instead of Isaac at the Mountain.
Bishop Erimujor said that, Christians should learned how to work with God, prepare spiritual sacrifices and allow God to take care of the sacrifices.
Highlights of the Church service was the illustrations using a 12 years old boy to perform as Abraham did with Isaac in the Bible story during the Sunday Church Service.
Including the earlier free medical outreach and food Distributions with the widows care Unit, under the sponsorship of Rev. Evangelists Clarke Coleman in which more than 80 person’s both widow’s, and ordinary men and women were blessed with the food items donated by the God ordained sponsors such as bags Rice and Gari from Walk By faith ministries Farms (W.B.F.F.V.A) from Kogi State, Nigeria as well as a bag of periwinkles from a Supporters For the widows in Pelitha Church Assembly Owerri.
It was an event packed with blessings, healing, thought provoking and admonitions as Owerri Imo State remained undaunted and peaceful within the time of the convention.
The Women of Pelitha Church Assembly also in unison and leadership under Pastor Mrs Margaret Nwanlem and Mrs Ugochi Osuji, exponents their dexterity in the service to God and humanity by standing firm in support for the success of the six days spiritually impactful programmes.
While Rev. Godwin Nwanlem said that he specially appreciated the services rendered by his own Stewards and Clergymen for the success of the programme including Evang. Bright Chimezie, Pastors Chinedu Iwuchukwu, Best Dimkpa, Romanus Aguocha and many others including the Pelitha Church Assembly Owerri Choir members.
