Dr. Chief Collins Osuagwu, a patriotic outstanding Community leader and Philanthropist from Umuebie, has dolled out more than #3M for UMUEBIE Autonomous community Kingdom Football Tournament 2024 tagged “UMUEBIE 2024 UNITY CUP” among the Villages in the Autonomous community, Isiala Mbano.
A release by the media handlers of Hon. Chief Dr. Collins Osuagwu Foundations revealed that a whooping sum of two to three million Naira has being mapped out for this exercise expected to kick off First Week of December 2024.
According to the release Champions as Winners would go home with #500,000. While Second Position as runners up goes with #300,000.
Chief Dr. Osuagwu has also dropped #200,000. For third Place while Fourth and Fifth positions goes home with #50,000 each .
Our staff Corespondent reports that this gesture by the Philanthropist is a sure way to wards fishing out talents including keeping off our Youths from Vices and Criminality this Yelutide.
One youth leader in the community, Comrade ….. told Newsmen that Umuebie, Ugiri Mbano is blessed with visionary leaders but Dr. Chief Osuagwu has through various programmes exhibited more empathy on the plight of people especially through his foundation. Which has continued dolling out Palliatives and Revolving Loans to Petty traders.
He noted that a couple of weeks ago, this same Philanthropist gave succour to indigent Widows and some other Villagers in Mbano.
