The Chairman of the Imo State Lawyers Association, Aba Branch, Barr. Uchenna Ejiogu, has lauded Barr. Obioma Success Akagburuonye for his generous donation, dedication, and commissioning of the Assemblies of God Noah’s Ark Church in Ogbor Uvuru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo State.
Speaking to journalists at the event, Barr. Ejiogu described Akagburuonye as a highly esteemed figure within the Imo State Lawyers Association, Aba Branch.
He emphasized that Akagburuonye’s philanthropic gestures have been remarkable, touching countless lives, particularly the less privileged within his immediate community and beyond.
Praising his contributions, Barr. Ejiogu stated, “Barr. Akagburuonye has accomplished so much for people to see. He has truly impressed us.”
Recently , It was a huge ceremony as , Barr. Success Akagburuonye, a renowned politician, real estate icon, legal luminary, and civil engineer, dedicated the Noah’s Ark church in Ogbor uvuru, Mbaise district, Imo State to God .
The event witnessed the presence of ” creme de la creme ” in Nigeria amongst whom is the former president of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr. Peter Obi, Governor Alex Otti, Major General Lincoln Ogunewe, Barr. Iheukwumere Henry Alaribe, Executive Chairman of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, Chief Barr. Charles Akwuete, Ugwumba 1 of Lorji in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area and host of Other personalities.
In his speech Barr. Akagburuonye shared his personal journey, marked by challenges and triumphs, including his 26-month detention by the EFCC from 2003 to 2005. Despite stringent bail conditions, in which he was eventually vindicated by the Court of Appeal. This experience, he said shaped his perspective on justice and inspired him to study law.
In furtherance he disclosed that ,the Noah’s Ark church, was designed after the biblical account of Noah’s obedience to God’s instruction, which he maintained serves as a symbol of faith, obedience, and salvation.
Barr. Akagburuonye collaborated with architects to bring this vision to life, and the land was generously gifted by Bishop Simeon Onyechukwunaebui Ogbonna.
Barr. Akagburuonye’s Commitment As an ambassador of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He vowed to serve God and humanity with all his life and resources.

The Rev.Minister Obasi Charles Julian , Senior Pastor Assemblies of God Church Ogbor Uvuru Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area , said” It has been a glorious day, though expected , he built the existing church for us including the Noah’s Ark , Akagburuonye is a humanitarian , other Christians should emulate him “Rev.Obasi said.
Continuing , Lady Ike-Godson Olaedo Expressed happiness and commended Barr. Akagburuonye for his masterpiece, seeing it as an ark of God and a symbol of faithfulness and obedience.
The dedication ceremony showcased choir ministration , and other activities.
