OWERRI, Imo State – Following the disturbing trajectory highlighted by the viral story of ‘Professor T., the lonely man cooking eba at 75,’ Ambassador Evang Jerry Osuji, founder of Multiple Media, Owerri, successfully convened an urgent, high-level Strategy Summit on Friday, October 10th, 2025, to address the silent epidemic of loneliness and emotional isolation among successful men in their later years.
The exclusive gathering, titled The Second Chapter Summit, was conceived and hosted by Ambassador Osuji to combat the social phenomenon he terms the “Loyalty Trap.” He passionately steered the session, outlining the immediate need to establish a “Four Actionable Pillars” blueprint for building an ‘Anti-Loneliness Architecture.’ He emphasized that the Foundation’s work focuses on transitioning dutiful men into a Second Chapter defined by purpose and connection, not silence and regret.
The atmosphere of the Summit was noted for its warmth and generous hospitality, reinforcing the convener’s core belief that care and comfort are essential pillars of holistic well-being—a profound contrast to the narrative of isolation.
The event served as the initial strategic announcement for Ambassador Osuji’s nascent initiative: the Multiple Foundation…better life for aged Men. This vision immediately garnered the strong support of prominent leaders present.
Lending significant weight and credence to the new plans of action were:
Barr. Ezekiel Opara, Former Director General of the Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), who stated: “This is not a social call, but a strategic necessity. We must stop hoping for a happy ending and start strategically building one.”
Prince Evans Clarkson Iheanetu, Executive Director of Zanders FM, emphasized the media’s role: “The silent tragedy of isolation affects productivity and leadership. Ambassador Osuji has provided the definitive blueprint for proactive longevity that every successful man in our age bracket must adopt.”
Chief Comrade Salvator Amadi, Publisher of NewsBlast Newspaper and Publicity Secretary of the National Association of Electronic Media Presenters of Nigeria (NAEMPON), formally endorsed the initiative, stating: “The NAEMPON family extends its warm regards and full support to the Multiple Foundation, commending its focus on emotional resilience. We call on all responsible citizens and organizations to rally behind this crucial movement.”
Dan Asoluka, immediete President of the United Orji Brothers Association.
The collective endorsement signals a major, collaborative effort under Ambassador Osuji’s leadership to redefine longevity and resilience for Owerri’s influential demographic, ensuring their continued contribution to the society.
