The chairman United Imo Christian Network Dr. Emma Amaefule has commended the executive governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodinma for giving the young people the opportunity to led hence assured that the young people are ready and prepared to deliver effective good governance in Imo State.
Speaking in a consultation meeting of coalition’s of young leaders from different organizations in owerri, assured them that the young people are the hope of every society, community, state and nation. Hence, the passion and burden to champion development and confronts challenges are usually rest upon them. Dr Emma amaefule maintained that posterity will not forgive the young people with good knowledge if they fail to take responsibility for the betterment of her people and society’s.
According to the chairman United Imo Christian Network, who also doubles as the former Director General for Prof Alphonsus Ekwerike campaign organization for Imo state governorship election in 2019 with Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) and the two term leader of the community speakers and Community Liaison Officers in Okigwe Zone, Dr Emma Amaefule he said, ” The opportunity for young people to governor Imo State is timely and with God backing hence the outcome is believed to be an answered prayer for Imo people. It is obvious, for over two decades now, young people have been deeply involved in supporting leadership at various levels in Imo State but never given the opportunity to led. No doubt, over these years, a careful identification and study of our problems across the State as well as the discovered solutions have been found. Emphatically, the young people taking up leadership will not be an experiment but rather to maintaining good legacies and charting people oriented good governance across Imo State “.
In another development, Dr Emma Amaefule who have successfully collapsed 3 organization structures across the State under his leadership to Imo State APC and are now in maximum support of the 3R government in the State, such as prof Alphonsus Ekwerike governorship campaign organization, majority members of Imo State Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party and United Imo Christian Network respectively. He maintained that the young people consultations so far across the Zones and their move to adopt new structures are yielding positive results hence assured that the Imo Young people at home and diaspora are ready for positive political change in Imo State.
It was gathered that Dr Emma Amaefule who also has served as the former Speaker Independence Pan African Youth Parliament for South East Zone in 2018 -2021, is quietly in good touch with the former community speakers and community Liaison officers across the State and progressively Consulting with other groups and organizations for a possible mass movement for Imo young people in governance. Again, his ability to relate with the small, the big and the mighty in the State and beyond as well as his humility and simplicity often times confused few people but his content, focus, integrity, wisdom, competence and capacity is not in doubt.
