Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund Board, Hon. Henry Nwawuba, has hosted members of the National Assembly Directorate of Inter-Parliamentary Relations and Protocols during a high-level courtesy visit led by the Directorate Secretary, High Chief Dr. Fortune Ihua-Maduenyi.

The meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, enhancing parliamentary diplomacy, and promoting effective coordination among departments within the National Assembly.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Nwawuba described the visit as an important step toward building stronger working relationships that will improve legislative administration and national development.

He commended the Directorate for its continued role in promoting inter-parliamentary engagement and supporting initiatives that contribute to the growth and efficiency of the National Assembly.

Discussions during the meeting also highlighted the need for stronger partnerships, knowledge sharing, and improved institutional synergy in advancing legislative responsibilities and democratic governance.

Hon. Nwawuba, who serves as Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund Board, noted the importance of creating platforms that encourage research, policy development, and institutional growth within the parliament.

He added that the Library Trust Fund Board remains committed to improving access to legislative resources, strengthening documentation systems, and supporting evidence-based lawmaking across committees and departments.

The delegation from the Directorate of Inter-Parliamentary Relations and Protocols highlighted their ongoing efforts in building stronger ties between the National Assembly and other parliamentary bodies across different regions.
