Since the inception of January 2026, the good people of Udogadi Okporo Autonomous Community, in Orlu LGA of Imo State, have continued to reiterate their gratitude to God and the footholds of Ngere Dim-Ojiaku dynasty, like Chief Remmy U. Mbagwu (Eze di na obi 1 of Udogadi Okporo Autonomous Community) Mr. Calistus M. Okoye (Abraka na Orlu) Mr. Ifeanyi Mbagwu ( Ego juru oyi) Mr. Emmanuel Mbagwu ( oduenyi) , their Australian based brother, Mr. Sunday J Okoye(Erinma na Orlu) and others, for the Free Health Program which they reportedly financed and organized to benefit of the community and in memory of their brother , Late Mr. Chidiebere Mbagwu .
Journalists in Imo, gathered, that the free healthcare exercise, which was officially flagged- off, on the 5th day of January 2026, at the Eziama Ubaha hall was attended by overwhelming crowd who came with different health problems and all the cases, were given the required medical attention on that same date.
Fielding questions from journalists general impression, One of the free healthcare service beneficiaries and indigene, Mrs Ngozi Ogolima explained that the program has proved to them that being so proactive in health means a lot to Mbagwu family. She noted that the financial burden of health care costs and the equitable access to health services are part of the major challenges in Udogadi Okporo Autonomous Community, due to lack of credible representation at the various public seats of power. She therefore joins other beneficiaries in expressing gratitude to the sponsors , for considering it very Paramount to rescue the poor villagers from common illness like cold, pneumonia, malaria, hepatitis, meningitis, heart diseases and other ailments.
