Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has encouraged some of the country’s biggest music stars, including Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake, to use their wealth and influence to support the less privileged.

Speaking during the launch of the National Community Food Bank in Kogi State, the First Lady acknowledged that there is nothing wrong with enjoying luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce and Maybach, but stressed that giving back to society is equally important.

She urged successful entertainers to establish charitable foundations, invest in community development, and provide assistance to vulnerable Nigerians, noting that such efforts would complement the government’s fight against poverty and hunger.

“The burden on the government is huge. While good cars are good, you can still help those in need,” she said.

Her remarks have sparked conversations across the country about the role of celebrities and other wealthy individuals in supporting humanitarian causes. Many observers noted that acts of philanthropy from influential public figures can make a meaningful difference in the lives of ordinary Nigerians and inspire others to give back to their communities.
