The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has been dragged before the Federal High Court in Abuja over issues surrounding the academic records of former Anambra State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The suit, reportedly filed by Labour Party chieftain Abayomi Arabambi, is seeking the court’s intervention over the alleged refusal of the university to release or provide access to documents relating to Obi’s academic records.
The development has sparked renewed public interest in Obi’s educational background, coming at a time when political activities and debates ahead of the 2027 general elections are intensifying.
