The State Organizing Secretary of All Progressives Party (APC) , Imo State , Hon Sir Ikechukwu Umeh, have vowed that APC will win all elections in the upcoming local government elections scheduled to hold on 21st of September, 2024.
The leader who spoke with newsmen in Owerri during the APC stakeholders meeting, urged Imo citizens to vote for APC as they did during the house of assembly, governorship and presidential elections .
Hon Umeh , former Imo Commissioner For Science and Technology, revealed that the party have released and unveiling their guidelines and their timetable for primary elections which will hold on 20th July, 2024. He affirmed that well grounded individuals will be selected as candidates across the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.
He Commended Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his leadership prowess, describing him as an action and a selfless leader. He maintained that governor Uzodinma has done well in the areas of roads construction, agricultural empowerment, women and youths empowerment , alleviating plights of Imo citizens, among others.
Hon Umeh, called on Imo citizens to support APC so that the dividend of democracy will continue prevailing in Imo.
He said, ” We assure Imo citizens that All Progressives Party (APC) , will produce quality and credible candidates that will make sure that the dividend of democracy gets to the grassroots “, Umeh assured.
