The All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) , Chairmanship Candidate, Aboh Mbaise , Hon Peter Otuechere Amuchie, has raised alarm over election malpractice by All Progressives Congress (APC) political party .
Speaking to the press at Aboh Mbaise Council Headquarters , Amb Peter Amuchie , noted , that electoral officers and materials were absent at the various pulling boots in the local government ( Aboh Mbaise) on the election day . He also noted that the electorates that arrived at the polling booths to cast their votes to their preferred candidate were turn down by ISEC officials who were absent in almost all the pulling boots in Aboh Mbaise.
Amb Amuchie described the above actions as injustice to humanity, and maintain that no good government should deny the right of franchise to it’s citizens.
He noted that when some youths moved into the council office to know if they will see any electoral officers to address them , they saw bags filled with ballot papers in the office of the current SOLAD.
Amb Amuchie, called on appropriate authorities and bodies to give justice to people of Aboh Mbaise, as they are tired of injustice and bad government.
Some angry youths carried placard with the inscription ” Say no to APC Bad government”
