Njaba LGA – Hon. Ibenjo Chigozie, the newly elected councilor for Amucha Ward 1, has officially received his Certificate of Return from the Chairman of the Independent State Electoral Commission (ISEC), Egiogu. The presentation took place on Thursday along Orlu Road.
In an interview with journalists following the event, Chigozie expressed his gratitude and determination to serve his constituents. “I am overjoyed and thankful for this opportunity,” he stated. “Despite the challenges faced, God has shown that He is omnipotent. I am deeply grateful to everyone who voted for me, and I assure you that I will not let you down.”
Chigozie pledged to prioritize the needs of his ward, promising to implement an open-door policy that includes all community members. “I encourage everyone in Amucha Ward 1 to maintain peace,” he added. “My agenda and manifesto will speak for themselves, and together, we will work towards the betterment of our community.”
The newly elected councilor’s commitment to transparency and inclusivity signifies a hopeful chapter for the residents of Amucha Ward 1 as they look forward to his leadership.
