A massive fire has destroyed four structures in the well-known Dosunmu market located in Lagos Island, Lagos State.
Various photos and videos captured the intense flames engulfing several large buildings within the market.
The Lagos State coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed that approximately 14 tall buildings were impacted, with four of them completely razed by the fire.
Farinloye also noted a building collapse, bringing the total number of affected structures to four.
This incident occurred shortly after a similar fire ravaged four buildings in the same market.
Additionally, there was a recent fire incident at a three-story building in Balogun Market, Lagos, as disclosed in a press release by Margaret Adeseye, Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
