…Receieves Certificate of Return

The Chairman-Elect of Aboh Mbaise LGA under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Barrister Iheukwumere Alaribe, has promised to ensure the holistic development in the LGA as well as to make the people of the area happy, adding that his mission was to change things for good.
Barrister Alaribe, was addressing newsmen on Tuesday, September 22, after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Chairman of the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), Chief Charles Ejiogu at the Commission’s headquarters along Orlu Road, Owerri; an event that also witnessed other chairmen-elect across the state being issued with their certificates.

Reacting to his victory, the Aboh Mbaise Chairman-Elect, disclosed his joy and the satisfaction among the people of the area over the development which he said would surely bring good tidings. “My people are all happy with my election saying that Iheukwumere has happened in Aboh Mbaise. I’m happy too,” he enthused, disclosing that as a household name and a grassroot politician in the LGA, he had won the confidence of his people.
The former Imo State Commissioner for Transport and Tourism who has also held other positions in the state, promised to prioritize efficient service delivery through prudent management of resources and personnel in the area. According to him, Aboh Mbaise under his watch would witness development and progress in infrastructure, human capital, healthcare delivery and education among others.
“I’m physically, spiritually and academically equipped for this job. I’m also experienced to achieve succeses. I will be sincere. I will be honest. I will be determined to use the resources of the Aboh Mbaise LGA in the most appropriate manner. I will work with the workers, leaders and all people of goodwill in my LGA to ensure that the basics are achieved for the benefits of the indigines,” he declared.
On his plans to run an inclusive administration, Hon Alaribe, emphasized that elections were over, and indicated that his government would accommodate and collaborate with all the stakeholders meaningfully towards developing the LGA. He added that he had worked well with leaders severally for the good of the area, including as a campaign chairman in Aboh Mbaise for two consecutive elections.
He used the opportunity to urge the people of Aboh Mbaise LGA to join hands with him to make the LGA better by being peaceful, law-abiding as well as by fulfilling their civic responsibilities.
