The honourable Councilor elect for Ogbaku ward in mbaitoli local government Hon. Philian Ihemedo has promised to discharge his duties without favour or party affiliation stressing that his main focus is to drive down good governance to his community.
Hon Ihemedo stated this after he received his certificate of return at the Imo state electoral commission (ISEC) office Owerri on Thursday.
He also commended the shared prosperity administration led by the governor Sen Hope Uzodinma for providing enabling environment for the smooth conduct of local government election which he described as the most peaceful local government election in held Imo state.
” I will ensure that what so ever that is due for community will get to them, in partnership with the executive chairman and the state government the people of Ogbaku ward and mbaitoli in general will fill the impact of our developmental programmes in no distance time, he stated.
However, he commended the leaders of mbaitoli for their support for APC party during the election adding that the landslide victory for the party in the just concluded local government election further proves the popularity of APC in Imo state.
