Owerri Club inducts new members, as Ashimole, Kanayo, Osuji assure of rich support

Owerri Club Aladimma has formerly inaugurated the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, as President, investitured Nze George Onwuanuibe as Grand Patron, as well as inducted Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi, Ashimole Ndubuisi Promise, Mazi Osuji Ikechukwu, Comr. Uchenwa Nwokeji, among numerous others as new members.

The inauguration, investiture and induction ceremony took place at Owerri Club Aladimma last Saturday with people from all walks of life gracing the fanfare event.

Speaking, Chairman of Owerri Club, Chief Charles Okeke (Odiuko), noted that the inductees were thoroughly scrutinized before they were inducted into the Club, saying the event was remarkably unique.

According to Okeke, “Owerri Club has seen what it has never seen before. The event was spectacularly great. We have been able to imbibe quality leadership. My administration has plausibly done well, haven injected new blood into the Club and most of the new members are young people who will eagerly impact positively to advance success of the Club”.

The Chairman who extended profound gratitude to the newly inaugurated President of Owerri Club, Governor Hope Uzodimma and the newly investitured Grand Patron, Nze George Onwuanuibe, described the new inductees as great minds who have dignified humanity and contributed extensively to the growth, progress and development of Imo State.

Stating that Owerri Club is one of the oldest clubs in Imo State, Member who represents Owerri West State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi, said the new blood injected into the Club would strengthen its growth and success. “Today, I have seen life here. I’m not surprised that Owerri Club is doing something new and I encourage them to go ahead and I pray God sees them through continually”.

Just as the President of Campos Football Academy, an inductee, a philanthropist per excellence, Mazi Osuji Ikechukwu, promised that he would always do his best to support the progress and success of Owerri Club.

Osuji who said he was very elated of the mark the Club has made, as well as being inducted into the Club, noted that he sponsored many youths who are currently playing in Europe and other countries who he added are doing well. “I will do more things to lift young talented footballers, as well as intensify goodness to all species of humanity to help improve peace and prosperity in Imo State”.

With Ashimole Ndubuisi Promise, an adjunct lecturer with Imo State University Owerri, expressing delight for being inducted into Owerri Club, promising to add to the progress of the club. “This is a prestigious club and I’m happy to be a member. The club is going to have a new face.

With President of Owerri Sports Club, Sir Uchenwa Nwokeji saying he was delighted about the great success being recorded by Owerri Club, urging people to join clubs to unburden stress to live healthier and happily.
