The Executive Chairman of Isiala Mbano LGA, Evangelist Chika Israel Okoroike, has been commended by his Chief of Staff, Hon Golden Uzowuru for presenting a credible 2025 budget proposal to the council’s legislative house for approval.
Uzowuru gave the commendation shortly after the budget presentation ceremony on Tuesday, 18th February, 2025, at the council’s headquarters, Umuelemai .
He noted that the #5.7b budget proposal, when passed by the council’s legislative house, would go a long way in triggering unprecedented economic growth and development in the local government.
The amiable Chief of staff commended his boss for committing 93% of the total budget estimate to capital expenditure, describing the gesture as an indication of his unweavering commitment and readiness to develop the LGA.

He also extolled Okoroike for his outstanding performance within his first 100 days in office as executive chairman of the local government, saying that the resources of the local government were effectively and efficiently utilized to achieve optimal results.
He mentioned some of the laudable achievements of the chairman within his first 100 days in office to include – the recovery of Nkwo Mbaa gully erosion site along Amaraku/Ugiri/Umuelemai road, the construction of ultra-modern secretariat complex at the council’s headquarters, Umuelemai, sinking of boreholes and installation of solar powered street light in most communities of the area.
Recall that Okoroike had on Tuesday, 18th February, 2025, presented #5.7b budget proposal christened Budget of Holistic Economic Development for 2025 fiscal year, to the Isiala Mbano Legislative House for consideration and approval.
