The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected claims by the Kwankwasiyya Movement that some of its members have defected, insisting that the party’s structure remains solid and united.
The party described the reports as unfounded, maintaining that its members remain committed to the APC and that there has been no wave of defections as alleged.
APC leaders said the party continues to enjoy the support of its members across the state and remains focused on strengthening its grassroots base ahead of future political engagements.
The party urged supporters and the public to disregard what it called misleading reports, adding that its leadership remains united and committed to advancing the party’s objectives in Kano State.
The response comes amid renewed political exchanges between the APC and the Kwankwasiyya Movement over claims of shifting political loyalties in the state.
