Hon. Mrs. Uju Rochas Anwuka, Special Assistant on Health in the Office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, alongside members of her foundation and the Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma during the inauguration of the solar-powered water project at Egbuoma Secondary School in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
The Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma have expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Mrs. Uju Rochas Anwuka, Special Assistant on Health in the Office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for facilitating the installation of a solar-powered water scheme at Egbuoma Secondary School through her foundation.
The project is expected to provide a steady supply of clean and safe drinking water to residents of the community, addressing a long-standing challenge of water scarcity. It is also expected to improve public health, sanitation, and the overall well-being of the people, particularly students and families who will benefit from the initiative.
Community leaders and members of the Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma described the project as a timely intervention that reflects Hon. Mrs. Uju Rochas Anwuka’s compassion, commitment to public service, and dedication to community development. They noted that the solar-powered water scheme is more than an infrastructure project, as it will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people.
The Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma commended Hon. Mrs. Uju Rochas Anwuka for remembering the community despite the demands of her national assignment. They described her as a compassionate leader whose humanitarian efforts continue to bring hope and development to Egbuoma.
In appreciation, the Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, protection, wisdom, and elevation in her public service. They prayed that she would continue to enjoy good health, strength, and greater opportunities to serve humanity and positively impact more lives.
The Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma also expressed sincere gratitude to her husband, Dr. Uzo Anwuka, for his encouragement and unwavering support, praying that Almighty God would continue to bless, protect, and prosper him.
They further appreciated Professor A. G. Anwuka, former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his continued support and commitment to the progress and development of Egbuoma. They prayed that God would grant him long life, good health, renewed strength, and abundant blessings.
Describing the commissioning of the solar-powered water project as another step forward for the community, the Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma expressed confidence that the facility would serve both present and future generations while easing the burden of accessing potable water.
The Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma also thanked everyone who contributed to the successful execution of the project and called on other public office holders, philanthropists, and well-meaning sons and daughters of the community to emulate the noble gesture by supporting projects that improve the welfare of rural communities.
The Concerned Citizens of Egbuoma concluded by praying that Almighty God would continue to bless Hon. Mrs. Uju Rochas Anwuka and her family, reward their generosity, and grant them greater opportunities to continue serving humanity through impactful community development initiatives.
