In recognition of the dedication and contributions of its business partners, Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) has rewarded outstanding dealers and distributors in the Eastern region with millions of naira during its 2026 B2C Eastern Region Conference held in Owerri, Imo State.

The conference brought together dealers, distributors, business partners and stakeholders from across the Eastern region for a day of celebration, appreciation and discussions on strengthening business relationships.

Held in Owerri, Imo State, the host city for the regional gathering, the event provided an opportunity for FMN’s Golden Penny Foods brand to acknowledge the efforts of partners who have contributed to the availability and growth of its products in the market.

The conference, themed “Reset, Rebound, Win Big, Foot to the Floor,” focused on encouraging dealers to continue improving their businesses while building stronger partnerships with the company.

Speaking with journalists after the event, Associate Director, Trade Marketing, Golden Penny Foods, Abiola Ademuwagun, said the Eastern region remains an important market for Flour Mills of Nigeria because of the strong support received from consumers and distributors.

She explained that products including flour, sugar, cereals and noodles continue to enjoy wide acceptance in the region, with dealers playing a major role in ensuring that the products reach households and businesses.

Ademuwagun said the decision to host the conference in Owerri, Imo State, was aimed at appreciating loyal partners and recognising the important role they play in the success of the Golden Penny brand.

She noted that the cash rewards presented at the event were based on dealers’ performance, including purchase volume, consistency and commitment to promoting the company’s products.

According to her, the reward programme is designed to encourage dealers to continue working hard and expanding their businesses while maintaining strong relationships with FMN.

She also encouraged more entrepreneurs to explore partnership opportunities with the company, explaining that dealers can grow their businesses through the distribution of quality Golden Penny products.

A major highlight of the conference was the presentation of cash awards to top-performing dealers, with Mrs. Ozigbo Marble emerging as the highest recipient after receiving a reward of ₦10 million.

Speaking after receiving the award, Marble expressed appreciation to Flour Mills of Nigeria for recognising the efforts of distributors and creating opportunities to reward commitment and excellence.

She said the recognition was a motivation to continue supporting the growth of the Golden Penny brand and ensuring that consumers have access to quality products.

Marble attributed her achievement to consistency, dedication and her commitment to purchasing and distributing large quantities of the company’s products.

The event also featured entertainment, networking sessions and interactions among dealers and business partners, creating an atmosphere of celebration and collaboration.

Participants used the opportunity to share experiences, discuss business opportunities and strengthen relationships that will support the continued growth of the Golden Penny distribution network.

Flour Mills of Nigeria said it remains committed to supporting its dealers, recognising their efforts and creating initiatives that encourage business success across the Eastern region and Nigeria.
