Prince Osinachi Amako, popularly known as “No Vex,” has successfully scaled through the House of Assembly screening process, marking another major step in his political ambition to represent his constituency at the State House of Assembly.

Amako, who is currently the Vice Chairman of Owerri West Local Government Area and also the Chairman of all Vice Chairmen in Imo State, spoke with journalists at the APC Party Secretariat shortly after the screening exercise. He described the process as smooth, transparent, and successful, while expressing confidence in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the APC remains one of the strongest political parties in the country, adding that the party continues to grow stronger day by day due to its commitment to development and good governance. He praised members and leaders of the party for their unity and dedication toward building a better future for the people.

The APC chieftain also commended the screening committee for carrying out a credible and professional exercise. He noted that the committee demonstrated fairness and maturity throughout the process, which he said further strengthened his confidence in the internal democratic system of the party.

Speaking on his vision for the constituency, Amako emphasized the need to create more opportunities for young people. He stated that the future of the youth should no longer be postponed, stressing that meaningful empowerment and inclusion must begin immediately.

“The future of the youth is no longer tomorrow; it starts now,” he said while addressing journalists. He added that young people deserve quality leadership, empowerment programs, and opportunities that will help them contribute positively to society.

When asked why he decided to purchase the nomination form to contest for the House of Assembly seat, Amako explained that his decision was driven by his passion to serve the people and improve the welfare of those in his constituency. He stated that his major focus would be on empowering youths, supporting women, and improving the living conditions of elderly people.

He further explained that community development, job creation, education, and social welfare would remain among his top priorities if elected into office. According to him, leadership should be about service, accountability, and bringing government closer to the people.

Speaking on the incumbent lawmaker, Amako maintained that the decision ultimately rests with the people. He said the electorate already know the aspirants and are in the best position to decide who can truly represent their interests and deliver quality representation at the State House of Assembly.

He concluded by assuring party supporters and members of his continued commitment to the ideals of the APC, while calling on the people of his constituency to remain united and hopeful for a better future.
