The outcome of governor Hope Uzodinma style of leadership concerning last week’s APC Primary election in Okigwe South Federal constituency has started bearing fruits as a cross section of Obowo political leaders demand similar approach to Imo House of Assembly Seat for Obowo.
Speaking yesterday Sunday at government House Chapel after governor Uzodinma’s remarks that APC under his watch took strategic steps to restore confidence in leadership as equity and fairness with justice is his Hallmark in leadership for upcoming generations. Chief Charles Anyanwu , a chieftain of APC from Obowo told Journalists that the Imo House of Assembly Seat for Obowo, is zoned to Astern Obowo in line with Equity and Justice.
Chief Anyanwu urged His Excellency, Sen.Dr Hope Uzodinma CON to insist on spreading participation in Leaderships especially with credible and Vibrant candidates . He said Umunachi Obowo and other communities therein have knowledgeable Candidates in the APC .
We therefore plead that Equity fairness and Justice prevails in the forth coming Primaries of our party for Imo House of Assembly come this week.
The Obowo leader however expressed sadness on allegations of unconfirmed reports, that Some mischievous Obowo Leaders are trying to loop in a part of Obowo Central where outgoing member , RT. Hon. Barr . Kennedy is from, in Western Obowo . Let truth be told, Achara is never in Eastern Obowo please.
Chief Anyanwu maintained that any move to bring in ACHARA Village into EASTERN OBOWO is suspicious for fawl play. He Cautioned politicians to be sincere and committed to the People’s interests.
They commended the steps taken by Rt.hon Chike Okafor in congratulating RT. Hon. Jonas Okeke for emerging as federal House of Representative Candidate in 2027 general elections under our party APC, cautioning sinister move to bring ACHARA TO EASTERN OBOWO as a calculated move to truncate genuine motive behind Equity.
