Hon. Jahn Ezenwa has committed to putting Ahiazu first if elected as council chairman. He made this pledge while addressing party members in his hometown, Oparanadim.
During his address, Ezenwa welcomed several notable defections from other political parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). These defections came from various wards in the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area.
The event’s highlights included the reception of two former chairmen from the APC and APGA in Oparanadim ward, namely Mr. James Azubuike and Mr. Sam Njoku. This move marks a significant shift in local political dynamics, strengthening Ezenwa’s position and influence.
Other prominent defectors included Silas Okereego, the former PDP LGA secretary, and Calistus Anyanwu, the APGA youth leader, along with Anyanwu Osondu. Their decision to join Ezenwa’s camp underscores a growing support base and momentum for his candidacy.
In his speech, the ward chairman assured these new members that they would be fully integrated into the party. He emphasized that their experience and dedication would be valued and that they would be treated as long-standing members of the party.
Hon. Ezenwa’s promise to prioritize Ahiazu and his ability to attract key political figures to his camp indicate a robust and inclusive approach to leadership.
