The Deputy Speaker’s efforts in making the South East Development Commission a reality merit commendation.
I urge Ndi-Igbo worldwide to acknowledge and celebrate Rt. Hon. Ben Kalu’s achievement.
Furthermore, any attempt by others to claim credit for this initiative should be met with resistance; it is Kalu’s brainchild, and history will duly recognize him for this accomplishment.

The South East region of Nigeria has faced enduring challenges, including severe destruction during the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War, persistent underdevelopment, infrastructure decay, and economic stagnation.
