Hotel De Copperfield, a luxurious addition to Nigeria’s hospitality industry, was officially launched on December 27, 2024, in Owerri, Imo State. Located opposite the Imo Correctional Facility, the hotel is a masterpiece of architectural excellence, setting new standards for luxury and comfort.

The facility boasts elegant rooms, exquisite suites, a swimming pool, bars, a fine dining restaurant, a barbershop, and a multi-functional hall. Unique features include an underground parking facility with reinforced pillars for durability and a rooftop green village offering stunning views of Owerri.

The opening ceremony was led by Rt. Rev. Chukwuma Chinekezi Oparah, Anglican Bishop of Owerri, who prayed for the hotel’s success. Evang. Barr. Jerry Egemba, representing Governor Hope Uzodimma, commended the hotel’s management for contributing to Imo State’s economic growth, emphasizing the state’s position as a hub for tourism and hospitality.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including business leaders and government officials. Guests toured the hotel’s facilities, appreciating its luxurious interiors and innovative design, while choristers added a celebratory touch to the occasion.

Speaking on behalf of the management, Barr. Oluchukwu Green Nnabugwu expressed pride in the hotel’s international standards and announced plans for future expansion.
