The critical stakeholders in Imo State All Progressive Congress (APC) has strongly assured that there is no disagreement or uncertainty in the party rather affairmed that Imo State APC is a big united family with good purpose for Imo people hence disregard any assumptions of negative tendencies.
Speaking to newsmen on the issue, Hon Osita Okechukwu from Mbaise advocated that the good legacy’s of Sen. Hope Uzodinma in Imo State must be sustained as well as the unity of purpose in Imo APC leadership. Pointing out that the interest of Imo people and the party vision remains their focus in 2027 elections.
According to Hon. Osita Okechukwu he said,” Our stakeholders meeting before the party primary and the meeting after our party primaries has strongly united all Imo State APC faithful. Therefore, all Imo APC members are giving commitment to the governor and the party leadership for a victorious 2027 elections. Indeed, the development of Imo state and the interest of Imo people are the party focus not personal interests.”
Also contributing chief Victor Nwachukwu from Onuimo said, ” The successful conduct of the Imo State APC primaries is a demonstration of party unity not disagreement. Again, the matured display of the party aspirants after the party primaries is a clear pointer to progress and future development of the state. No doubt, we are very confident with our governor and Imo State APC leadership hence continued to assured maximum support to them “.
It was gathered that the diversity in unity in Imo State APC is not the same as disagreement. Currently, Imo State APC has many support groups across the 27 local government areas of the state but all are totally committed to Imo State APC directives and good leadership for Imo people. And maintained that there is no disagreement or uncertainty within the Imo State APC.
