A small earthquake shook the northeast part of the United States on Friday morning. There were no fast reports of broken stuff or hurt people, but government and local people said more shaking could happen later.
As per the U.S. Geological Survey, the 4.8 size quake happened 7 kilometers up north from Whitehouse Station, N.J., about 50 miles west of New York City, not very deep, only 4.7 kilometers down.
People felt it from Washington, D.C., to Boston, really far.
