The fact remains that the President of Imo State Amalgamated Markets and Traders Association, ISAMATA,Hon. Emmanuel Ezeanochie will not easily be forgotten when it comes to role played by political actors during the election of 11th November, 2023 that brought back Governor Hope Uzodimma as the Executive Governor of Imo State.
I write to redirect the minds of those who may have forgotten the major actors who stake their lives going from one village to another preaching the good works of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma in his first tenure.
Hon. Ezeanochie did not mind the then horrible insecurity in Imo State,but however going from one market to another with his executive members telling Traders to vote for Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Recall that I,as a journalist and the former SSA to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Networking,Hon. Chinyere Chantel Onwuzuruike were with his campaign team to Imo State Cluster Market, Naze where both Igbo and Hausa traders were all happy after the sermon of Hon. Ezeanochie about Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Currently, media is getting traffic in different interpretations about who Ezeanochie is.
Some said that the same Governor Hope Uzodimma whom he worked for ordered for his arrest over fraud while others are saying that the Governor should not quickly act on “side-talk”,but give Ezeanochie opportunity to explain himself.
Ezeanochie might not be a saint as nobody knows it all,but I however suggest that the Governor should invite him to his office to enable him properly hear from him as some of his allies may be fielding wrong information.
