Hon. Kingsley Asonye (Toshiba), says he has the political capacity and leadership prowess to bring more goodness to Owerri North LGA by strengthening peace, unity, progress, social development and economic prosperity in continuation of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma’s monumental legacies.
He stated this while speaking with journalists shortly after obtaining the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms at APC State Secretariat Owerri on Friday.
Asonye who said he is aspiring for the Executive Chairmanship Position of Owerri North in the September 21st Imo State Council Election because he has the passionate desire to improve social and economic needs of the locality in line with the Governor’s blueprint to foster a prosperous and united Owerri North, as well as enhance peace and security for the good of all persons, positing that he would uphold the Shared Prosperity Administration’s Initiative to improve good living in the locality if elected.
He promised to bring “youths into governance. I have passion to elevate Owerri North, thereby improve security, social development and economic prosperity. I have the political capacity and leadership experience to render effective service to them if they elect me as Executive Chairman”, Asonye added.
Asonye Tochukwu, a former Owerri North Youth Leader, recounted his efforts and contributions during the Owerri North 12 Wards Reelection Campaign Tour that heralded the landslide victory recorded in Owerri North APC and thanked those who contributed to enable him buy the forms, assuring them that he will not disappoint Owerri North if elected.
