A group, Aboh Mbaise Concern Citizens, has cautioned, Chief Samuel Onwuemeodo, former Chief Press Secretary to Imo State Governor Senator Rochas Okorocha, to stop his campaign of calumny and zoning agenda against All Progressives Congress (APC) members and Party Aspirants in the area.
The group’s convener, Chief Boniface Iwu, expressed unhappiness over Onwuemeodo’s provocative statements, which aim to discredit critical stakeholders and leaders. Iwu accused Onwuemeodo of trying to instigate crisis by openly supporting specific aspirants, Nze Julian Nworgu and Chibuike Onyeukwu, while soliciting for the zoning formula to Enyi-Ato, against two other blocs of Nguru and Oke in Aboh Mbaise.
The group warned, Onwuemeodo, to desist from destroying the party, emphasizing that the Local Government Area Chairmanship and Councillors election is a brotherly and clan-based affair requiring unity of purpose.
They urged him to allow the best aspirant to emerge for the party’s victory in the September 21 council election.
“Onwuemeodo we know has not been visible in the party since the shameful auster outing of his Principal, Rochas Okorocha as Imo State Governor with his unattended destructions and damage to the State. “Onwuemeodo should as a matter of facts bury his head in shame instead of coming public to incite the peaceful Aboh Mbaise APC members as each other or Is he now working for his brother Emeka Ihedioha to impose his boys on the good people of Aboh Mbaise or is he still working for his masters Senator Rochas Okorocha and trying to instigate Governor Hope Uzodimma loyalists in Aboh Mbaise LGA”.
