Hon Kizito Onuoha, an All Progressives Congress ( APC) chieftain, that emerged the Deputy Chairman of Ngorokpala Local Government Area in the just concluded local government elections, has noted that Imo people voted massively for All Progressives Congress (APC) political party that led to the party victory.
Speaking to the press in Owerri , Hon Kizito, maintained that political positions are not giving , rather , is a process where people meet the electorates , campaign and make their manifestos known to them. He added that those processes will convince people to vote for the candidate of their choice without fear of intimidation.
He noted that his local government ( Ngorokpala) is peaceful , and during his campaign, he meet other political parties aspirants and they exchanged pleasantries .
” What we face in the Ngorokpala where I come from is a healthy political campaign. People move freely, those contesting for political positions have the freedom to share their manifestos. We have been enjoyed wonderful security and conducive atmosphere in Ngorokpala ”
Hon Kizito Onuoha, appreciated governor Hope Uzodinma for his determination to bring back the local government autonomy, which he described as the government that is nearest to the people.
