Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has welcomed the presentation of the N58.18 trillion national budget by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as an opportunity to deliver meaningful development to Nigerians.
Speaking on the budget, the senator said Nigerians are more concerned about the real benefits they feel in their daily lives than the size of figures announced. She noted that citizens expect improvements in jobs, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and security.
She stated that a large budget can only be successful when it is properly implemented and when allocated funds translate into visible progress across communities.
According to her, accountability and transparency are essential to ensure public resources achieve their intended purpose.
The senator added that the budget reflects a commitment to national growth and stability, especially with increased attention to key sectors that directly affect the wellbeing of citizens.
She called on government institutions and stakeholders to work together to ensure the budget delivers practical results that improve living standards and strengthen public confidence in governance.
