The Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, has issued a stern warning to impostors and political opportunists peddling false narratives about the recent Supreme Court judgment, describing such actions as deliberate attempts to mislead the public and destabilize the party.

In a strongly worded statement, the forum condemned what it described as the reckless spread of misinformation by unauthorized individuals who have no legitimate standing within the party but are falsely presenting themselves as representatives of the SDP.

The chairmen said such actions are driven by selfish political interests and are aimed at creating confusion and division within the party.

The forum stated that the Supreme Court judgment is clear, unambiguous and final, and must be respected by all parties. It warned party members and the general public to disregard any commentary or interpretation of the ruling that does not come from officially recognized organs of the party.

According to the state chairmen, the continued circulation of falsehoods poses a serious threat to party unity and undermines respect for the rule of law. They stressed that the SDP remains committed to due process and internal discipline in the management of its affairs.

The forum also cautioned that the party would take decisive disciplinary and legal action against anyone found impersonating party officials or deliberately distorting facts related to the Supreme Court judgment, noting that such conduct will not be tolerated.

The state chairmen urged party members nationwide to remain calm, vigilant and united, and to rely solely on official party channels for accurate information.

They further called on security agencies to monitor and address acts of impersonation and the spread of false information capable of creating political tension or disrupting public order.
