A respected Clergyman in Imo State, Apostle Dr.George Ike of the Glorious Grace Bible International Church has emerged the Chairman-elect of the Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN , Imo state Chapter , as he received his Appointment letters, awaiting official inauguration.
The issuance of the appointment letters which took place at the lifeline Assembly Church auditorium Aboha, Ohi in Owerri West LGA, was conducted by the South East National Vice President Bishop Maxwell korie of the Lifeline Assembly Church who represented the national President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
The gathering witnessed the presence of members of the state advisory council (SAC) from Imo , Enugu and Ebonyi States, Past P F N Chairmen / Executives, Chairmen and newly elected Executives of IMO, Enugu and Ebonyi States, amongst who includes ; Bishop Titus Akanabo, Rev Dr Jamike Eke , Ebonyi State chairman -elect Pastor David Abraham, Enugu state chairman -elect Rev Dr. Chimaobi Aniwene and host of other ministers of the Gospel.
Admonishing the gathering Bishop Korie stressed on the need for Christians to imbibe the culture of building trust , he said “I want us to learn how to build trust ” he submitted.
Interracting with newsmen immediately after receiving his Authentication letter ,, Apostle Ike who felt so elated expressed happiness on a successful event , he thanked the members of PFN in Imo state, for finding him worthy to serve, in his words ” I am so happy today, we have been authenticated , our letter has been presented to us an election was conducted on the 29th of June 2026 and we emerged”
Speaking on the way forward, Apostle Ike highlighted that he will work in synergy with his executives to ensure a smooth running of PFN activities which he said is geared towards propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In furtherance, a former Chairman of Imo PFN Bishop Titus Akanabu urged the newly appointed PFN Executives to pray for the spirit of God to forge ahead, he prayed that God should instill in the the spirit of discipline in the discharge of their assigned duties. seized the platform to congratulate the Executives on their well deserved victory.
Meanwhile, the letter of appointment is an offshoot of the June 9th elective congress which was successfully conducted to ursher in new Executives that will pilot the affairs of PFN in Imo State , Enugu State and Ebonyi State.
Other Executives that were successfully elected into various positions include; Deputy Chairman-elect, Pastor Barr. Princewill Odikanwa , Legal Adviser Barr. Mrs Victoria Nnenna Alex-Amadi,Internal Auditor Pastor Emmanuel Oriaku, Treasurer Rev.Dr.Opara Paulinus Chukwunyere and other elected excos.
