………. OluImo Reminds Imo Govt of Unfulfilled Agwa/Ejemekwuru Road Promise

AGWA, IMO STATE — The people of Agwa Clan have expressed their readiness to vote massively for the re-election of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, renowned activist and philanthropist, Prince Maduba Chukwudi Francis, popularly known as OluImo, has declared.

OluImo, while speaking on the political situation in the clan, said the people of Agwa have resolved to support Dibiagwu’s re-election, stressing that the lawmaker has been a good representative of the clan.

According to him, the decision of the people to support the lawmaker is based on his performance and commitment to the interests of his constituents.

He, however, expressed concern over what he described as the failure of the Imo State Government to fulfill promises made in 2023 concerning the construction of the Agwa/Ejemekwuru Road.

OluImo lamented that despite the promises made by the state government, the road project has not been delivered as expected, noting that the condition of the road remains a major concern for the people of the area.

He also expressed concern over what he described as the inadequate presence of government in Agwa Clan, stressing that the people deserve greater attention and tangible developmental projects from the state government.

The activist and philanthropist therefore called on the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, to urgently implement the promises made to the people, particularly the Agwa/Ejemekwuru Road project, before December.

OluImo said fulfilling the outstanding promises would go a long way towards restoring the confidence of the people in the government and strengthening the relationship between the administration and the people of Agwa.

He further maintained that the timely execution of the road project could provide the ruling party with a smoother political environment ahead of the election, as the people would appreciate concrete action on issues affecting their daily lives.

While reiterating the people’s support for Dibiagwu’s re-election, OluImo urged the Imo State Government to match its promises with action, emphasizing that the people of Agwa are looking forward to meaningful development and improved government presence in the clan.

He appealed to Governor Uzodinma to consider the Agwa/Ejemekwuru Road a priority and ensure that the long-awaited project is implemented without further delay.
