The South East All Progressives Congress (APC) Special Leader, Persons With Disabilities, Hon. Dr. Stanley Chinedu Nwachukwu, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, on his recognition as the Governor of the Decade by the Daily Times newspaper.
Nwachukwu described the prestigious award, presented to Governor Uzodimma on Thursday, September 3, 2026, as a significant recognition of the Governor’s leadership, developmental initiatives and contributions to the growth of Imo State.
According to him, the honour is a testament to the administration’s efforts in repositioning the State and implementing programmes aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of the people.
The APC Special Leader said Governor Uzodimma had continued to demonstrate commitment to good governance, infrastructure development, economic growth and inclusive leadership since assuming office.
He noted that the Daily Times recognition would further encourage the governor to remain focused on his administration’s development agenda while continuing to provide purposeful leadership for the people of Imo State.
Nwachukwu commended the governor for what he described as his resilience, vision and determination to transform the state, stressing that the award was not only a personal honour to Uzodimma but also a source of pride to the people of Imo State.
He further expressed optimism that the governor’s achievements would continue to attract recognition from reputable institutions and organisations across the country.
The South East APC Special Leader congratulated Governor Uzodimma once again and wished him continued wisdom, strength and success in the discharge of his responsibilities.
He also urged Ndi Imo to continue to support initiatives aimed at promoting peace, development and progress in the State.
