Hardship: ‘I miss Buhari’ – Comedian, MC Pashun

by admin

Popular comedian, MC Pashun, has candidly expressed his nostalgia for former President Muhammadu Buhari amid the prevailing economic challenges, acknowledging that the country’s financial woes have intensified under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

Despite acknowledging that the economic conditions during Buhari’s tenure were far from ideal, the ‘My Flatmates’ star asserted that the situation has further deteriorated since the advent of the Tinubu-led administration. Speaking at a recent event, MC Pashun lamented the consistent worsening of the country’s conditions with each change of government.

Expressing his weariness with the state of affairs, MC Pashun shared, “I’m tired of this country [Nigeria]. Things keep getting worse with each change of government. It’s as if politicians hold meetings on how to make the masses suffer. Every new government will make you miss the last one.”

In a surprising twist, the comedian expressed missing Buhari, describing him as a “father” despite acknowledging some “reckless decisions.” However, he voiced concern that Buhari’s successor, Tinubu, seemed to be amplifying the challenges faced by Nigerians, contributing to widespread stress and a lack of peace in the country. MC Pashun concluded, “Nigerians are lamenting. There’s no peace in the country. Tinubu is stressing everybody. The whole country is stressed.”
